5 Days- Eco lodge in Lapland

We are happy and proud to promote this new tour to Lapland that is almost Carbon neutral.

You will stay at the eco friendly Hotel Torassieppi that is heatet from a geothermic source. The food is local and ecological and the activities are by dog sled, reindeer and snow shoe.

In the summer time the lodge is planting trees to compensate for the bus transfer to and from the airport. All this works its purpose as this place in Lapland has the cleanest air, and we would like it to stay just like that.

BESTIL REJSE

DAY TO DAY PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrival to Kittilä
Departure from a Finair destination in Europe to Kittilä – Finish Lapland. Our local representative will meet you in the airport upon arrival and take you to Muonio . You will stay in a cabin shared with your travel companions for this first night. Dinner is included this first night.

Day 2: Visit to reindeer farm
Enjoy your breakfast before departure to the local reindeer farm. Here you will get a chance to meet the animals, feed them and also practice to catch them with a lasso. Afterwards you can get a short ride in a reindeer sled. You will have time to spend at leisure in the small village, where you will also eat lunch. You can spend the afternoon in the icebar, of local sauna before dinner is served at the hotel

Day 3: Dog sled
After breakfast we will take you to the dog yard. Today you will get a chance to get to know them better. After a briefing about the dogs you will be taught to drive the and handle a dog sledge before you are introduced to your own team of dogs before you take off for an approx. 15 km long ride in the winter landscape. Enjoy an evening at leisure at the hotel before dinner.

Day 4: Day at leisure
You will have a day at leisure to enjoy the day on your own pace. You can borrow snowshoes from the reception and go explore the winter landscape individually. You will have lunch and dinner included at the hotel, and of cause free access to the sauna. You can also add on optional excursions during your stay.

Day 5: Departure
Breakfast is serves before return transfer to Kittilä airport. From here you will return to your Finair destination in Europe after hopefully some magical days in Laplands winter wonder land.

The hotel is located in the most beautiful surroundings and is heated by geothermal energy. The hotels restaurant is specialized in ecology and local food. This makes it possible for us to offer an almost Carbon neutral programme in this area where you will find some of the cleanest air in the world.
